ACMA Continues to Block Offshore Online Casinos in Australia
The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) recently made headlines by announcing the blocking of two more offshore online casinos, Crown Slots, and Billy Billion. This move is in line with the ACMA’s ongoing efforts to protect Australia’s gaming market from illicit operators.
ACMA Takes Action Against Offshore Operators
According to the ACMA’s latest statement, both Crown Slots and Billy Billion were found to be operating in violation of the Interactive Gambling Act 2001. As a result, the ACMA issued a request to Australian internet service providers (ISPs) to block access to these websites in Australia.
